Things to do and see

There are a surprising variety of things to do in and around Pangani.

We love messing around on the water, so there’s a whole range of boats here at Emayani; wind surfers, kayaks, even a dhow.

We are very proud to announce that we have a new boat the 'Mzee Ali Choba'. This boat offers fast, safe and comfortable transfers to Pangani, and Zanzibar. For more details read our Boat Transfers flyer or contact us.

What better way to unwind than to pull your beach bed into the shade of a palm and settle down for a good read? If you finish your books, don’t worry we have a small library stocked with all sorts of good books you can borrow.

For something a little more active take a dip into the clear waters of the Indian Ocean. If you’d like to snorkel we have masks and flippers to hire

If you prefer to swim away from the waves you can try out our new beach side pool, its just a few meters from the shore. Or you can relax on one of the loungers on the decking.

You can either swim from the shore and explore the small corals nearby, or you can arrange to go by boat to Maziwi Island. This small sand island is a marine reserve, it sits on a stunning coral reef, and snorkeling here offers great opportunities to see varied corals and sea creatures.

If you want a really romantic end to your day, ask us about arranging a sunset cruise. We will take you out to sea at around 5.30. You can enjoy the sunset in complete peace then return to shore in time for dinner.
